Emerging from Cork’s underground music scene in the late 1980s, The Sultans of Ping quickly became one of Ireland’s most beloved alternative bands, blending punk energy with irreverent humour. Their breakthrough single Where’s Me Jumper? became a cult classic, cementing their status as one of the most unique and entertaining acts to come out of Ireland. Over the years, they have released several acclaimed albums and built a reputation for their electric stage presence, unpredictable antics, and a devoted following that continues to grow.
The Sultans continue to play a few select shows in the UK and Ireland each year, turning down far more shows than they play. The Sultans will take ot the stage at Cork City Hall on October 25th with support from The Naildrivers & Flywheel, a show not to be missed.
