Carlos Niño is a producer, percussionist, and experimental composer best known for his collaborative project Carlos Niño & Friends and his work on André 3000’s New Blue Sun. A key figure in L.A.’s spiritual jazz and ambient scenes, he’s collaborated with numerous artists and draws inspiration from visionaries like Alice Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders, and Don Cherry.
