Known for their infectious Afro-pop sound, the couple’s new track combines danceable Afro-beat rhythms with modern electronic elements, all highlighted by Mariam’s captivating vocals; “Mogolu,” meaning “people” in Bambara, celebrates human diversity and invites listeners to dance. The upcoming album will include both new and essential tracks, celebrating 20 years since their breakthrough with “Dimanche à Bamako”;  over their illustrious career, Amadou & Mariam have collaborated with notable artists like Damon Albarn, Santigold, and Scissor Sisters, spreading their joyful Afropop globally.
