FIXITY – With support from Bog Jazz

FIXITY is a project formed by multi-instrumentalist and composer Dan Walsh in 2015 and it’s based around the impossibility of repeated moments and manifests in solo and ensemble settings with collaborators from throughout Ireland and beyond; to date, FIXITY has presented 11 individual releases, also featuring a series of solo-produced and numbered mini-albums. Since the release of FIXITY7 in 2021 Dan has been performing with a growing pool of collaborators including The Bonk, Junior Brother, Naive Ted and Elaine Howley, as well as embarking on a solo european tour in February 2023 spanning 5 countries.
FIXITY 8 was released on the 5th of July 2024, followed by a string of Irish tour dates, and marked Dan Walsh and his collaborator’s newest phase of explorations in music.
